The Rhesis Green Label project defines sustainability and performance parameters for a conscious web. Our goal is to promote websites that meet technical efficiency thresholds designed to reduce global energy impact through Digital Quality.

Validation Criteria

Validation is performed by analyzing the website's Home Page. To achieve recognition, a site must demonstrate a minimum standard of 60/100 in every single area (Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO), on both Mobile and Desktop configurations.

  1. Technical Audit: we verify compliance with the four pillars of Digital Quality (using specific, partially public and verifiable tools). Meeting these thresholds ensures a structurally optimized website, significantly reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
  2. Observatory Inclusion: validated sites are listed in our official database on this page. All reference links are set as nofollow.
  3. Rhesis FM Integration: certified websites receive priority indexing in the Rhesis FM search engine under the Digital Quality section.
  4. Official Badge: validated sites earn the right to display the Rhesis Green Label logo, certifying their commitment to digital sustainability.

Monitoring and Compliance

Inclusion is considered permanent, provided that quality standards are maintained. The Observatory performs periodic audits.

  • Reviews: Formal notification if the site falls below the 60/100 threshold.
  • Grace Period: 30 days to restore technical parameters.
  • Revocation: Removal from the Observatory and Rhesis FM for failure to comply.

Participation and Fees

The project is open to all types of websites. A one-time fee of €25 is required exclusively after technical eligibility is confirmed and compliance with our guidelines is verified.
